In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing<br /> trade finance operations, ensuring smooth and efficient trade transactions for our clients. As a<br /> key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our trade<br /> operations and help drive the growth of our business.<br /> Roles & Responsibilities<br /> ● Lead and oversee trade finance operations, including import and export letters of credit,<br /> bank guarantees, and documentary collections.<br /> ● Monitor and manage trade finance risks and compliance, ensuring adherence to<br /> international trade regulations and internal policies.<br /> ● Develop and implement trade finance strategies to optimize operational efficiency and<br /> enhance customer experience.<br /> ● Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as relationship managers and credit risk<br /> officers, to support trade finance business development initiatives.<br /> ● Provide guidance and mentorship to trade operations teams, fostering a culture of<br /> excellence and promoting professional growth.<br /> ● Establish and maintain relationships with correspondent banks and external service<br /> providers to ensure seamless trade operations.<br /> ● Stay updated on industry trends and market developments related to trade finance, and<br /> leverage this knowledge to inform business strategies and initiatives.<br /> Experience & Skill<br /> ● Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.<br /> ● At least 5 years of experience in banking trade finance operations, with a focus on import<br /> and export letters of credit, bank guarantees, and documentary collections.<br /> ● Strong understanding and knowledge of international trade regulations, such as UCP<br /> 600 (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits), ISBP (International<br /> Standard Banking Practice), URDG (Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees) and<br /> several others.<br /> ● Proven track record of successfully managing trade finance risks and compliance.<br /> ● Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate<br /> teams to achieve business goals.<br /> ● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong<br /> relationships with internal and external stakeholders.<br /> ● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.<br /> ● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a demonstrated<br /> ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
