Job Summary

The Business Head will be responsible for building and scaling a new business segment focused on robotics and agentic AI models. This role involves taking full ownership of the business, including P&L management, client engagement, operations, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling operations-heavy businesses, managing large P&L accounts, and building new functions from scratch, contributing significantly to the company's growth in international markets.

Responsibilities

• Handle the overall P&L and take full ownership of the new business segment.
• Manage client relationships, understand their requirements, and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Oversee end-to-end operations and execution, deploying the right resources based on client needs.
• Manage vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Build and grow the business function from scratch (0–1 experience), establishing processes and scaling operations.
• Lead and manage a team of around 10–15 people within a larger team of approximately 100 employees.
• Drive business growth and scaling, aiming to expand revenue from ₹50 crore to ₹100 crore or more.
• Ensure client satisfaction through effective management and execution.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility with working hours, especially to accommodate US-based clients.
• Coordinate around 5% travel within India; no regular international travel expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a P&L of ₹100 crore or more.
• Extensive experience in operations-heavy companies, particularly in e-commerce, logistics, or similar sectors.
• Demonstrated success in building new business functions or startups from scratch.
• Track record of business growth and scaling, ideally from ₹50 crore to ₹100 crore+.
• Strong client management and execution skills.
• Experience managing teams of 10–15 people.
• Educational background in business, management, or related fields (BTech, BSc, MBA preferred).
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with international clients, especially in the US.
• Familiarity with robotics and agentic AI models.
• Ability to manage cross-cultural teams across India, Latin America, Japan, and potentially Europe.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
