Job Description
To manage the entire lifecycle of Product development from conceptualizing through filing, including
related activities and launch. Manage product mix basis the unique channel dynamics to
ensure product profitability. Engage in managing stakeholders in driving Products agenda within the
channel. Work on enabling better process and innovation through Product development
Job Responsibilities
Very good understanding of IRDAI Product Regulations
Understand competition product offering and assess and benchmark of product structures in
terms of competitiveness, stories of seller, profitability of channel etc
Managing lifecycle of Product development from conceptualizing, market insighting, relevance
for seller, filing, system development and go live.
Preparation of Sales Literature , Product Specs and other related documents for Filing and
internal approvals
Liaise with the Pricing and the IT team for product setup related requirements
Assist in resolving queries and exploring improved processes
Engaging with Channel to understand seller segment, product fitment basis product profitability,
customer need and customer segment
Work with channel teams , training and marketing to drive rider attachment and Protection
through product stories and drive their adoption
Ensure compliance to all Internal and Regulatory compliance matters
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong technical skills and understanding of key aspects of Insurance sales, product development,
pricing, product filing and product strategy
Strong analytical and communication and presentation skills
Good knowledge of Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Advanced degree in management from Premier B-school with 8-12 years of work experience
