Job Summary

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer (SDET) who will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and quality of COS's e-commerce platform. This position involves implementing robust test automation strategies and will significantly contribute to enhancing product quality through well-defined testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test suites for web applications.
• Define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Write and execute API, UI, and integration tests.
• Perform regression testing for releases to ensure consistent quality.
• Analyze results, debug failures, and report any defects identified during testing.
• Integrate QA practices into CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Puppeteer.
• Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured.
• CI/CD integration experience to support continuous deployment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Jest.
• Familiarity with e-commerce workflows and best practices.

Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in automation testing frameworks.

Environment

• Initial 2–3 weeks onsite in Mumbai, after which the position will be remote.
• General shift hours aligned with the IST timezone.
