Job Summary

In the position of Team Lead - General Accounting, you will play a critical role in driving the accurate and timely completion of accounting activities. You will oversee compliance with internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements, ensuring the effectiveness of financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements for timely filings with regulatory agencies.
• Lead Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance for specific areas to ensure effective design of processes and controls.
• Perform analysis of accounts to highlight discrepancies and serve as a subject matter expert for the resolution of accounting transactions and reporting questions.
• Ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.
• Support and oversee the month-end close process including account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and processing of journal entries.
• Experience in team management and leadership.
• Proficiency in Record to Report (R2R) processes.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is preferred.
• Expertise in performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions.
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external auditors.
