Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our team and drive insights, innovation, and automation through advanced analytics and machine learning. The ideal candidate will combine strong statistical knowledge, machine learning expertise, and programming skills with business acumen to design, build, and deploy scalable data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Data Exploration & Preparation: Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from multiple sources for analysis and modeling.
- Machine Learning & Modeling: Develop, train, and optimize predictive and prescriptive models using techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, recommendation systems, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and deep learning.
- Statistical Analysis & Insights: Apply statistical methods and hypothesis testing to extract insights, validate assumptions, and inform business strategies.
- MLOps & Deployment: Implement scalable machine learning workflows with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), automated retraining, and monitoring, using cloud platforms such as Azure ML.
- Business Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to identify use cases, prioritize initiatives, and embed data science solutions into the organizational framework.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Good knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including supervised (Regression, Random Forests, Gradient Boosted Trees), unsupervised (K-means, DBSCAN, PCA, anomaly detection models), NLP (Transformers, text classification, fuzzy matching), and time-series forecasting (ARIMA, Prophet, LSTMs).
- Hands-on expertise in MLOps practices such as CI/CD for ML models.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with cloud-native platforms.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in data science or related fields with a focus on machine learning applications.
