Project Architect- Sigma

Job Summary

The Project Architect will play a crucial role in the conceptualization, coordination, and execution of architectural projects. This position is responsible for ensuring that design ideas are effectively translated into actionable plans, while adhering to company guidelines and project timelines. The Project Architect will collaborate with various teams to maintain consistency in product specifications and facilitate the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Project Conceptualization:

    • Demonstrate sound knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws and Development Control Regulations (DCR).
    • Analyze and calculate the area identified for future projects and draft design proposals for client presentations.
    • Translate design ideas into comprehensive design briefs for consultants and architects.
  • Appointment of Consultants:

    • Appoint consultants based on thorough analysis of proposals.
    • Brief consultants on project requirements, expectations, and timelines.
  • Project Coordination:

    • Collaborate effectively with various teams, including liaison, projects, and sales.
    • Ensure consistency of product specifications in General Floor Area (GFA), General Floor Construction (GFC), and sales brochures to maintain alignment between concept, product, and sales pitch.
    • Acquire necessary approvals for design and resources, such as materials for project construction.
    • Track project progress and implement corrective actions regarding design as needed.
    • Address and mitigate any queries raised during the construction process.
  • Process Adherence:

    • Comply with company-defined guidelines and processes.
    • Adhere to project timelines.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify processes and procedures within the work area that require improvement.
    • Recommend and implement process improvement ideas to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Learning and Development:

    • Identify personal and team development needs.
    • Pursue self and team development through training, education, and project involvement.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
    • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certifications: Relevant architectural certifications are preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management, preferably in redevelopment projects.

Environment

  • The position is based in Noida and requires full-time, in-office work. The work environment is collaborative, with a focus on teamwork and communication across various departments.
