About the job:
We are looking for an experienced Category Leader to manage and optimize procurement and
distribution strategies for specific import categories: Metal Scraps, Polymers (incl. PVC), and
Agro Imports (incl. Edible Oils). The ideal candidate will possess deep market knowledge in
these respective sectors and help drive revenue growth by building strategic supplier
partnerships, optimizing supply chains, and creating go-to-market strategies that enhance our
product offering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing a strong relationship
with new prospects across the supply chain as well as maintaining a strong relationship with
suppliers and customers.

 

Responsibilities:
● Develop and own a long-term category growth roadmap for each assigned segment,
focusing on profitability and competitive market positioning
● Own and manage the P&L for the assigned categories, ensuring targets for sales, margins,
and vendors are met or exceeded
● Lead procurement and distribution efforts to drive sales through strategic customer
acquisition and contribute to our overall revenue growth
● Develop relationships with key suppliers and distributors, ensuring competitive sourcing
● Prospect potential clients using innovative direct methods, networking, channel
partnerships, and thorough research
● Acquire new clients while nurturing existing relationships with our valued clients

 

What are we looking for:
● Proven track record of owning and driving category growth through data-driven strategies
and supplier management
● Experience in both procurement and distribution processes for Metal Scraps, Polymers
(incl. PVC), or Agro Imports (incl. Edible Oils), with a deep understanding of global supply
chains is a must

Cross-functional leadership abilities, with experience working with legal, sales, marketing,
and operations teams
● Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external
suppliers
● Self-starter with a passion for results and ownership of business outcomes
