Manager - Design - Sonipat

Job Summary

The Manager - Design in Sonipat will oversee the conceptualization, coordination, and execution of design projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that design ideas are effectively translated into actionable plans while adhering to company guidelines and improving processes. The manager will collaborate with various teams to maintain consistency in product specifications and ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Project Conceptualization:

  • Utilize sound knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws and Development Control Regulations (DCR) to analyze and calculate areas for future projects.
  • Draft end product designs for presentation to customers and translate design ideas into briefs for consultants and architects.

• Appointment of Consultants:

  • Appoint consultants based on proposal analysis and brief them on project requirements, expectations, and timelines.

• Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate effectively with teams such as liaison, projects, and sales to ensure alignment.
  • Ensure consistency of product specifications in General Floor Area (GFA), General Floor Construction (GFC), and sales brochures.
  • Acquire necessary approvals for design and resources for project construction and track project progress, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Address and mitigate queries during the construction process.

• Process Adherence:

  • Comply with company-defined guidelines and processes while adhering to project timelines.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify and recommend improvements in processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

• Learning and Development:

  • Identify development needs for self and team, and pursue training and educational opportunities to foster growth.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in design software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of Redevelopment By-laws and DCR Regulations.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management or design are preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design management or a related field, with a focus on project coordination and consultant management.
