As the Vice President of Engineering, you will be instrumental in shaping the technology strategy and architecture of our AI-based performance management platform. You will lead a dynamic engineering team, ensuring the development and delivery of technology solutions that align with business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Technology Strategy & Leadership:

    • Define and implement the technology vision and strategy to align with business goals.
    • Lead the engineering team in developing innovative and scalable AI-driven solutions for performance management.
    • Oversee platform development and deployment, ensuring security, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
    • Stay updated on industry trends in AI, machine learning, and performance management to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Team Development & Collaboration:

    • Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
    • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align technology solutions with customer needs.
    • Develop processes to ensure effective communication and agile delivery across teams.
  • Technology Architecture & Innovation:

    • Design and maintain a scalable, reliable, and secure architecture for the AI-driven platform.
    • Lead integration efforts for AI and machine learning algorithms to enhance user experience and performance insights.
    • Evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to ensure a modern and scalable technology stack.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Ensure timely delivery of software releases while adhering to high quality and performance standards.
    • Implement best practices for software development, quality assurance, and DevOps processes.
    • Establish and monitor key performance metrics for engineering success.
  • Stakeholder Communication:

    • Effectively communicate technology strategy, progress, and milestones to executive leadership and stakeholders.
    • Translate technical challenges and opportunities into actionable business outcomes for executive teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in technology leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior executive position, preferably in an HRTech, SaaS, or AI-driven organization.
  • Expertise in AI, machine learning, and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong background in engineering leadership, including team scaling and product development.
  • Experience in building and maintaining scalable Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
  • Deep understanding of performance management processes and HRTech industry trends.
  • Strong technical expertise with hands-on experience in software development, architecture, and systems design.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams.
  • A strategic mindset to balance long-term vision with short-term execution.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
  • Background in high-growth startup environments.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
