Job Summary

The HR Analyst role is pivotal in supporting the HR function by leveraging data, reporting, process analysis, and actionable insights. The primary focus is on understanding HR process performance, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending measurable improvements to enhance HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • HR Data Analysis: Extract, organize, and analyze data from HR systems to generate meaningful insights.
  • Process Tracking & Turnaround Time Analysis: Monitor turnaround times across HR processes, including offer-letter issuance, onboarding, performance management, and other employee lifecycle activities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify delays and bottlenecks; recommend methods to enhance turnaround time and process efficiency.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare reports and dashboards for the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and senior HR leadership, translating HR data into actionable insights.
  • Ad-hoc HR Analytics: Conduct data analysis to answer leadership inquiries, such as identifying employees who exited shortly after joining or assessing the average duration of performance management cycle.
  • HRMS Data Management: Work with the organization's HR Management System (HRMS), such as Darwinbox, to retrieve, validate, and analyze HR data.
  • Data Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy and consistency through reconciliation and validation across various HR data sources.
  • Trend & Insight Generation: Identify patterns and trends in HR data, highlighting areas that require management attention.
  • Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with the CHRO, HR leadership, and internal HR teams by providing data-backed insights without managing employee- or candidate-facing interactions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in HR Analytics, HR Management Information Systems (HR MIS), People Analytics, or a similar HR data-focused role.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to work independently with HR datasets.
  • HRMS Experience: Hands-on experience in HRMS platforms for data extraction and reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel with advanced skills in reporting, dashboards, data reconciliation, and process metrics.
  • Insight Generation: Ability to transform raw HR data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail ensuring high data accuracy.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in HR analytics or HR shared-services environments, especially within organizations that have dedicated HR analytics teams.

Experience

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in HR analytics or a related field.

Environment
