Job Summary

The Data Engineer - Azure Synapse will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Synapse and related technologies. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting data warehousing initiatives to meet the organization’s data needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation.
• Design and manage data warehousing solutions, ensuring effective data modeling and architecture.
• Monitor data quality frameworks and utilize monitoring tools for job scheduling and performance tracking.
• Work with various data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and Parquet to facilitate data processing.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment using tools like JIRA to manage tasks and projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Strong experience with Snowflake and Stored Procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and job scheduling tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.
• Experience working in an Agile methodology environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with modern data architecture and cloud-based data solutions.
• Experience with data governance and compliance standards.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years in a data engineering role with relevant experience in Azure technologies and data management.

Environment

• Locations available: Pune, Chennai, and Bangalore.
• This is a full-time position with an immediate start date.
