Job Summary
The Regional Head - Alternate Sales is responsible for driving the alternate sales, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) for the allocated region. This role focuses on developing leads, fostering cross-functional business support, and building long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), promoters, and family offices.
Responsibilities

Direct Promoters & Family Office Engagement (40% of Regional Target):
- Source business directly through HNIs, promoters, and family offices, fostering long-term relationships.
- Drive customized investment solutions aligned with client objectives.

Channel Ownership & Development (60% of Regional Target):
- Own and grow the alternate investment business through channel partners across the region.
- Identify, onboard, and enable Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), wealth managers, and distribution partners.
- Conduct regular training and engagement programs to enhance channel productivity.

Strategic Initiatives:
- Collaborate with internal teams for branding, marketing, and platform-based initiatives.
- Represent the region in national forums and contribute to thought leadership.
- Drive innovation in client engagement and product positioning.

Sales Process & Governance:
- Ensure strict adherence to the sales activity tracker and Management Information System (MIS) reporting protocols.
- Monitor pipeline health, conversion ratios, and sales hygiene metrics.
- Support audit and compliance requirements through timely and accurate documentation.
Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:
- Post Graduation required.
- NISM 21A Certification.

- Sound knowledge of equity investment products.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in directly engaging with high-net-worth clients.
- Familiarity with mutual funds and investment management services.
Experience
- 10-12 years of direct client sales experience, with a focus on channel engagement and relationship management.
