Devops Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Devops Engineer to manage and optimize our cloud-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role involves utilizing AWS DevOps practices, automating processes with Python, managing Kubernetes deployments, and leveraging Terraform for infrastructure as code. The ideal candidate will support our rapid deployment goals and contribute significantly to our DevOps initiatives, ensuring reliability and scalability of our systems.

Responsibilities

• AWS Management: Oversee and optimize AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python for continuous integration and deployment.
• Kubernetes Deployment: Configure, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Utilize Terraform for creating and managing scalable infrastructure deployments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to implement robust CI/CD pipelines and streamline processes.
• Maintenance & Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure management.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in AWS DevOps practices, Kubernetes deployments, Python programming, and Terraform.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Certifications: AWS certifications or related credentials are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Knowledge of network and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in additional scripting languages or configuration tools.

Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a demonstrated ability to manage cloud infrastructure, automate operational tasks, and deploy containerized applications.
