QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The primary role of this position is to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will play a critical role in identifying bugs and issues before product launches, ensuring an optimal end-user experience, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software products.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product functionality and improve testing processes.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Proficient with testing tools and software such as Selenium, JIRA, etc.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in performance and/or security testing.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing environments.
