Job Title: Finance Controller (Grade: Deputy General Manager/Sr Manager) <br /> Location: Mumbai (Corporate Office) <br /> Reporting To: Head -Finance <br /> Role Summary: <br /> The Finance Controller will lead the finance function for a fast-growing café chain with 40+ retail <br /> outlets across India. <br /> This role involves overseeing financial operations, including ,but not limited to AP and AR, ensuring <br /> compliance, driving process improvements and automation, and providing strategic insights to <br /> support business growth.  <br /> Proficiency in Microsoft Navision ERP is essential.<br />  Key Responsibilities: <br /> Financial Operations & Reporting <br /> • Manage day-to-day finance operations including accounting, month-end closures, and <br /> accurate monthly financial reporting. <br /> • Oversee accurate and timely recording of revenue, collections, and payments across multiple <br /> retail outlets. <br /> • Maintain financial discipline and reconciliation completeness using Microsoft Navision ERP. <br /> • Independently manage and comply with quarterly and annual statutory audits  <br /> Internal Controls & Compliance <br /> • Implement strong internal controls for cash handling, digital collections, and store-level <br /> expenses and other vendor payments  <br /> • Ensure daily reconciliations between POS systems, bank statements, aggregators, and ERP. <br /> • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and audit processes. <br /> Process Improvement & Automation <br /> • Drive process automation in areas such as invoice processing, vendor payments, and MIS. <br /> • Collaborate with operations and IT to optimize ERP usage across modules like inventory, <br /> procurement, and approvals. <br /> Qualifications & Experience: <br /> • Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA in Finance with 8–12 years of relevant experience. <br /> • Prior experience in retail, QSR, F&B, or franchise-based multi-location businesses. <br /> • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Navision (Business Central) or similar ERP platforms. <br /> • Solid understanding of Indian taxation, audit procedures, and financial reporting. <br /> Key Skills: <br /> • Financial Reporting & Accounting <br /> • Revenue Assurance & Reconciliation <br /> • ERP Management – Microsoft Navision <br /> • Budgeting & Forecasting <br /> • Compliance & Taxation <br /> • Internal Controls & Risk Management <br /> • Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration <br /> Why should you work with us? <br /> Our passion to serve extends beyond our customers.
