Role specifications
The Director - Growth is responsible for driving US business growth and revenue. The role
requires a strong sales background working with international (especially US) markets, an
understanding of the financial services market, as well as an ability to execute a strong people
strategy for the team.
Responsibilities include:
● Develop a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's targets
● Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to continue to scale business
● Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, including managing the ongoing
development and growth of these accounts
● Analyze market trends, monitor competitors, and recommend changes to the company's
strategy to stay ahead of the competition
● Negotiate contracts and partnerships with potential clients and partners
● Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing
campaigns to promote the company's products
● Prepare and present regular reports on business performance and results to senior
management
● Building a high performance team through effective recruitment, training, incentive and
performance strategies
What we look for:
Experience
● Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
● 8+ years of experience driving sales and business growth with start-up or mid-sized
tech organizations
● Strong experience building and managing sales teams
● Financial services / FinTech experience
● At least 3-4 years of experience dealing with US clients
Skills:
● Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and
conciseness.
● Strong analytical skills to interpret historical data for strategic decision-making.
● Proficient in structuring objectives and incentive plans based on practical experience
and proven methods for motivating sales teams.
● Ability to design a strategic plan by analyzing data and conducting qualitative analyses
to identify opportunities in specific industries and client segments.
● Execution-oriented, combining planning with action to achieve set goals
● Strong sales skills and ability to motivate sales team, participating in sales calls to
understand clients, close important deals, and provide feedback for continuous
improvement.
● Strong Collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, including
marketing, account management, operations, sales ops, and risk.
● Humble, open to feedback, and avoids office politics; acts as an owner who prioritizes
building a great team and company.
