Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GIS Developer with over 5 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Geographic Information System (GIS) applications, ensuring the effective management and utilization of spatial data to support our organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide GIS solutions tailored to business needs.
• Perform spatial analysis and data manipulation to support projects and decision-making processes.
• Create and manage high-quality geospatial data layers and databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve GIS application-related issues promptly.
• Maintain documentation of GIS processes, workflows, and metadata.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geomatics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS application development.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Familiarity with web mapping technologies and APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based GIS solutions.
• Knowledge of remote sensing and geospatial analytics.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS development and related projects.
