Job Description

Key Responsibilities Arbitration Process Governance & Compliance ● Review and improve the procedures followed for mediation and arbitrations to ensure compliance with Indian and international arbitration laws. ● Establish, refine, and enforce internal arbitration protocols and best practices. ● Review performance of arbitrators, mediators, and case managers against high ethical, legal, and procedural standards. ● Conduct periodic risk assessments to mitigate non-compliance, bias, or procedural gaps, fraud, conflict of interest, unethical conduct. Client & Regulatory Liaison ● Serve as the primary legal point of contact for corporate clients, regulatory bodies, and government legal departments to address their queries and concerns. ● Represent JustAct in legal and regulatory forums, conferences and industry bodies. Formulate policy changes required and lobby for such policy changes. Legal Team Training & Mentorship ● Oversee training for case managers, arbitrators, and legal teams on arbitration laws, case handling, and procedural integrity. ● Develop knowledge-sharing initiatives & conduct workshops on evolving arbitration frameworks and ODR advancement, ethics, dispute resolution strategies.
