Job Summary

The Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for the successful maintenance, administration, and support of cloud-based production systems. This position requires strong coordination, planning, and tracking skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and ensure seamless operation of various cloud and DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer Linux-based systems to support cloud operations.
• Coordinate planning and tracking of tasks related to cloud services, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
• Manage and support production systems, utilizing AWS services such as EC2, EBS, IAM, EKS, Route 53, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop and manage Jenkins-based DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Analyze and monitor systems using tools like Grafana and Kibana.

Qualifications

• Strong coordination, planning, and tracking skills.
• Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
• Experience in Kubernetes (k8s) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
• Proficiency in AWS services: EC2, EBS, IAM, EKS, Route 53, S3, CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Grafana, Kibana, ELK stack, Beanstalk, Kafka, and MySQL.
• Experience maintaining and supporting production systems.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Shell scripting, Bash scripting, or Python.
• Experience working with databases (MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB) and message queues (Kafka, Beanstalk).
