Job Summary

The SAP BW (Business Warehouse) role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP BW solutions to support business intelligence and data analytics needs. The position ensures that data from various sources is efficiently integrated, transformed, and made available for reporting and analysis, enabling the organization to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SAP BW solutions to meet business requirements.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various source systems into the SAP BW environment.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain and optimize existing SAP BW data models, queries, and reports.
• Monitor data loads and troubleshoot data integration issues.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BW.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and business intelligence.
• Proficiency in ETL processes and data modeling within SAP BW.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP HANA and BW on HANA.
• Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects or other reporting tools.
• Knowledge of ABAP programming for enhancements and customizations.
• Exposure to SAP ECC source system integration.
• Understanding of SAP BW/4HANA migration and optimization.

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in SAP BW development and support.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining SAP BW solutions in medium to large enterprises.
• Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams and delivering business intelligence solutions.
