Job Summary

The Category Associate will support the growth and development of Moxie Beauty’s product and category initiatives. This role involves leveraging consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and effective product branding strategies to contribute to the success of our haircare offerings.

Responsibilities

• Support the product and category roadmap through consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and category architecture work.
• Drive product branding initiatives including naming, packaging development, and hero communication in collaboration with creative teams.
• Build product dossiers covering positioning, proposition, product stories, and visual and verbal frameworks.
• Own product development operations including trials (New Product Development and Existing Product Development), timelines, procurement coordination, and packaging development.
• Create technical dossiers outlining benefits, claims, and product performance data.
• Support and audit customer experience consultations and product queries to ensure strong product education and feedback loops.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in research, consulting, strategy, or related roles.
• Strong strategic and execution skills.
• Demonstrated interest in beauty, personal care, and consumer product innovation.
• Ability to translate technical details into consumer-facing narratives.
• Highly organized with strong project management abilities.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with haircare or personal care industries would be beneficial.
• Experience in creating consumer-facing marketing materials.

Experience

• 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
