SAP S4HANA Data Migration Consultant

Job Summary

The SAP Data Migration Consultant will play a crucial role in facilitating the successful migration of data to the S/4 HANA environment. The consultant will be responsible for managing migration processes, providing technical consulting, and ensuring the alignment of migration strategies with business objectives. This role requires in-depth knowledge of SAP processes and data migration techniques to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead data migration activities, including planning, tracking, reporting, and cutover planning for SAP S/4 HANA migrations using Migration Cockpit.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather migration requirements and establish migration rules, specifically for modules such as FI, MM, WM, IM, PP, NTP-PP, PM, and Procurement.
• Understand business objects' requirements and dependencies to provide technical support to the migration team during the design and release phases.
• Conduct business analysis and facilitate effective technical solution design for data migration projects.
• Engage with clients in customer-facing roles to manage relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the migration process.
• Drive strategic initiatives related to data migration, including tool evaluation and automation topics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in SAP Data Migration with at least 1 rollout experience in S/4 HANA (Migration Cockpit).
• For candidates with 7+ years of experience, a minimum of 2 rollout projects is required.
• Strong technical background in migration topics including planning, tracking, reporting, and migration consulting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP processes and modules, particularly FI, MM, WM, IM, PP, NTP-PP, PM, and Procurement.
• Proficiency in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, and Technical Solution Design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and demonstrating leadership in a team setting.
• Familiarity with additional migration tools, such as SNP Crystal, is an advantage.
• Experience in strategic topics related to data migration.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of additional migration tools relevant to SAP data migration.
• Experience in automated migration solutions.

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in SAP Data Migration.
• For candidates with 7+ years, a proven track record of at least 2 successful rollout projects.
