Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our operations in a dynamic and competitive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, primarily within the automation sector, focusing on Industrial Automation products. This role demands a proven track record in B2B sales, OEM sales, and P&L management, ensuring that our branch not only meets but exceeds its sales targets while providing exceptional service to customers and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve branch sales goals and growth targets.
  • Manage the sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and motivation to drive performance.
  • Oversee P&L management to ensure the financial health of the branch while driving profitability.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, understand their needs, and address any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and generate leads in the market.
  • Analyze sales metrics and report on performance to senior management, using insights to refine strategies.
  • Identify new market opportunities and implement plans to penetrate these markets effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements in automation, particularly involving Siemens products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) or related field.
  • Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the industrial automation industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales processes and OEM sales dynamics.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L responsibilities and drive business results.
  • Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in working with automation technologies and products.
  • Familiarity with market analysis and business development strategies.

Experience

  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in sales management, preferably within the Industrial Automation sector.

Environment

  • The position will be based in one of our branches in Chennai, Bangalore, with a focus on managing local operations and sales while collaborating with a larger team across various locations.
