Job Summary
The Technical Recruiter plays a crucial role in partnering with hiring managers to fulfill technical recruitment needs. This position is responsible for sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates, as well as managing the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer closure, ensuring alignment with the organization's growth and staffing objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and define hiring needs.
- Source candidates using job portals (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), social media, and professional networks.
- Screen and evaluate candidates for technical fit, experience, and cultural alignment.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer closure.
- Coordinate and schedule technical interviews, ensuring timely communication between candidates and hiring panels.
- Maintain and update candidate pipelines using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or internal tracking systems.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with potential candidates and industry professionals.
- Share recruitment metrics, reports, and insights with the HR/management team to improve hiring efficiency.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT recruitment (agency or corporate).
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technical skills, tools, and roles (e.g., developers, QA engineers, DevOps, data engineers).
- Sourcing Skills: Experience with sourcing tools, Boolean search, and ATS systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple open positions and deliver within tight timelines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience hiring for niche tech stacks or high-volume roles.
- Familiarity with modern hiring tools (e.g., GitHub sourcing, AI screening tools).
- Exposure to tech startups or Software as a Service (SaaS) environments is a plus.
