Position: Partner – Fund Manager – Investments – Real Estate
Location: Mumbai
Summary of Role:
- The candidate will be leading a team for end-to-end execution of credit investment in Real Estate opportunities in India including Origination, Credit and Risk evaluation, Diligence, Investment Committee approvals, Documentation, and Disbursement along with Deeper engagement with the Investee companies to formulate early exits and strategic tie-ups. The incumbent will also be responsible for formulating a thesis around a particular investment opportunity or strategy, working within our investment mandate's broad and flexible parameters.
Responsibilities:
- To generate investment opportunities by networking with developers, property consultants, and investment bankers.
- Independently negotiating with promoters, structuring deals, and executing legal documents
- Disbursement of funds to occur within the stipulated period from signing the term sheet and closing new transactions.
- Provide and periodically complete a database of relationships available or developed with a) Developers b) Funds / NBFC c) Investors / HNI / Corporate Houses d) Distributors.
- To complete the application, set up the fund vehicle with the Trustee, Trust, or another service provider along with relevant fund collaterals
- To manage the Fund operations (including exit opportunities) and Investee Companies (involving project planning, financing, execution, costing, sales/lead investment strategy unit within the company
- Help manage and uphold current client relationships and Develop a network of wealth managers, HNI, and Family offices to facilitate fundraising.
- Attend annual meetings, review quarterly financial statements, and remain up-to-date with any important valuation or policy changes
Requirements:
- Comes with a robust educational pedigree- MBA (Top tier institution) / CA + CFA as an added qualification (Preferable)
- Comes with a strong experience of at least 15 years in leading, supervising, and motivating a team of investment professionals.
- Strategic thinker and proficient in decision-making.
- In-depth understanding of transaction structuring and financial modeling.
- Well Networked in the alternative investments space.
