Job Summary

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will play a crucial role in managing the entirety of HR practices across the organization. This key management position is part of the leadership team within a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment. The CHRO will lead all human resources activities in alignment with company policies and procedures, focusing on acquiring and developing key talent, building organizational culture, and establishing best-in-class HR processes to support business objectives and foster growth.

Responsibilities

  • Organisation Development (OD):

    • Lead strategic workforce planning and design optimal organisational structures for agility and clarity.
    • Conduct annual health diagnostics to identify structural and cultural improvement areas.
    • Drive change management initiatives for smooth adoption of new processes.
  • Performance Management:

    • Design and implement a continuous performance management system with clear Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and introduce recognition frameworks for high performers.
  • Culture Building:

    • Define and embed organizational values into recruitment and daily operations.
    • Launch initiatives for employee engagement, including leadership connects and open houses.
  • Talent Management:

    • Build a leadership development framework and create succession plans for critical roles.
    • Oversee talent acquisition processes ensuring a strong cultural fit and quick onboarding.
  • HR Policy & Processes:

    • Develop and upgrade HR policies for recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
    • Implement digital HR processes for improved transparency and decision-making.
  • Employee Engagement & Well-being:

    • Establish engagement programs that balance cost efficiency with high impact.
    • Integrate wellness programs focusing on physical, mental, and financial health.

Qualifications

  • Over 15 years of HR experience, with at least 4-5 years in a world-class HR environment and 4-5 years in a smaller company.
  • Strong expertise in people interaction, negotiation, and issue resolution.
  • Ability to identify and recruit high-quality talent effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with an inclusive management style.
  • Strong strategic ability with attention to detail; metrics-driven and objective.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • A master's degree or relevant certifications (such as SHRM-CP, SPHR) is preferred.

  • Experience in leveraging digital technologies to enhance HR processes.
  • Knowledge of best practices in employee engagement and wellness programming.
