Financial/Investment Analyst
Job Summary
As a Financial/Investment Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. The role involves developing financial models, preparing reports, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of financial data and provide insights for strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, including gathering data, preparing forecasts, and monitoring performance against the budget.
- Assist in the review and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support business decisions.
Qualifications
- Basic Understanding of Financial Concepts: Familiarity with accounting principles, financial ratios, and basic financial statements.
- Proficiency in Excel: Strong proficiency in using Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail in financial data and reporting.
- Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with financial software or tools would be an advantage.
