Backend Developer - Altysys

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the organization by developing and deploying robust backend systems that enhance our overall application performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Implement real-time communication and event-driven systems using Socket.IO.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Implement APIs, integrate third-party services, and optimize system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python with practical experience in FastAPI.
• Expertise in Socket.IO for real-time communication systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and scalability patterns.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

• A minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in backend development.
