Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with a strong focus on Fast API and Python to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will be able to design and implement scalable backend solutions that effectively handle high concurrency requests, working within a microservices architecture. This role will contribute significantly to our product's reliability and performance, ensuring optimal user experiences for our client base.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Fast API and Python.
• Implement and optimize I/O calls for high concurrency requests for applications with over 10,000 users.
• Manage and configure Kubernetes to ensure scalable deployment of microservices.
• Integrate and utilize message queues like Celery, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS for task processing and inter-service communication.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Conduct production deployments and troubleshoot any issues that arise related to backend operations.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Fast API, Python, and asynchronous programming (e.g., asyncio).
• Experience working with databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, Databricks, and Iceberg.
• Knowledge of web sockets and Socket.IO.
• Proven experience in production-grade Python coding within microservices or containerized environments.
• Familiarity with deployment and management of scalable APIs in a Kubernetes environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GoLang is a plus.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for high-traffic applications.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in backend development with a focus on scalable applications.
• Proven track record in production deployments, handling large-scale user bases.

Environment

This position is based in Bangalore and requires the candidate to work from the office 5 days a week.

Salary

Estimated salary range is 20-24 LPA (Lakhs per Annum).
