Job Summary
As a Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in expanding Fingerprints Learning Collective’s reach and effectively communicating its unique services to a diverse audience. This internship offers hands-on experience in education-focused marketing, enabling you to contribute meaningfully to the mission of discovering and celebrating individual potential. Your responsibilities will include content development, event support, digital presence management, and brand-building within the education and social impact sectors.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop engaging content for social media, blog posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials to articulate our services and philosophy.
- Social Media Management: Assist in maintaining and growing our presence across relevant platforms, engage with our community, and track performance metrics.
- Marketing Materials: Help design and create digital and print materials tailored to different audience segments.
- Event Support: Organize and promote webinars, workshops, and other events to showcase expertise and connect with potential clients.
- Market Research: Conduct research on educational institutions, parenting communities, and relevant organizations to identify potential partnerships and growth opportunities.
- Email Campaigns: Support the development and execution of targeted email marketing campaigns.
- Website Updates: Assist in maintaining and updating website content for clarity and relevance.
- Client Success Stories: Collect and showcase testimonials and case studies that highlight the impact of our work.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Education, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and compelling content
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Canva
- Interest in education, personal development, child development, or social impact sectors
- Ability to understand and communicate complex services to different audiences
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Empathetic approach and alignment with our mission of discovering potential
Preferred Skills
- Experience with basic analytics tools for social media or email campaigns
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in marketing or the education sector
- Knowledge of SEO basics
- Video editing skills
- Multilingual abilities
Experience
- Open to current students or recent graduates
- No minimum prior experience required, but relevant coursework, projects, or internships are an advantage
Environment
- Flexible, part-time internship (10-15 hours per week)
- Remote work available; preference for candidates able to visit the HSR Layout office in Bangalore once or twice a week
