You will work on building out interfaces that are functional & scalable. You will work in a cross-functional setting with the product, business development, and engineering teams.<br /> This role will require you to work on very web3-specific infrastructure applications such as building out the front end for block explorers, wallet integration applications, etc. Hence, prior knowledge and experience in working with the web3 front-end stack are essential. <br /> Responsibilities:<br /> Create a unified component library for use across all xalts products.<br /> Rapidly implement functional UI elements from design mocks, with an eye toward performance and accessibility.<br /> Know when to create abstractions vs one-off features.<br /> Ensure that components are functional, elegant, performant, and mobile-friendly.<br /> Understand when and how to run UI tests.<br /> Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to collect requirements, implement prototypes, and iterate on product delivery.<br /> Perform code reviews and participate in UI/UX architecture.<br /> Improve our web apps’ availability, performance, and security.<br /> Requirements:<br /> 3+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years of React experience.<br /> Experienced with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React (or another component-oriented UI framework), and backend API interaction for pull and push data streams.<br /> Experience with state management solutions and associated middleware such as redux and redux-sagas.<br /> Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Next.js, Mocha, Selenium).<br /> Past experience of working on crypto projects is a plus.<br /> Nice to have:<br /> Familiarity with the web3 frontend stack like ethers.js, web3.js, EIP-1193, client-side private key management, etc.<br /> Familiarity with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Flutter, and React Native.<br /> Experience in a blockchain-based project.<br /> Prior experience creating a design system or component library.<br /> Working at xalts:<br /> Be part of something exciting.
