Job Summary

The Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure and services. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of cloud operations, while also facilitating CI/CD processes and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure Cloud infrastructure including Azure Container Apps, Virtual Networks (VNet) with subnets, Private Endpoints for SQL Managed Instances, Cosmos/Mongo, Storage, and more.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Git Actions, Jenkins, Sonar, and CodeQL.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate and manage infrastructure.
• Implement containerization strategies using Docker and orchestrate applications with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Conduct vulnerability management by executing security assessments and implementing remediation measures.
• Ensure secure coding practices are followed throughout development and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 7-10+ years of IT experience.
• Azure Cloud Services: 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Services and DevOps.
• Infrastructure as Code: 4+ years of experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Containerization: 4+ years of experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• DevOps Tools: 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools including Git, Git Actions, Jenkins, Sonar, and CodeQL.
• Monitoring Tools: 4+ years of experience with monitoring technologies such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and New Relic.
• Security Tools: Proficiency with Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Key Vault.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on scripting experience with YAML, JSON, PowerShell, BASH, or Python.
• Experience with automation practices.
• Good knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.

Experience

• 7-10+ years of relevant IT experience with a focus on Azure Cloud and DevOps practices.
