Job Summary
The Senior Business Analyst will play an essential role in driving requirement clarity, solution alignment, and quality delivery for SU:CH AI’s enterprise platforms in the BFSI/FinTech space. This position operates at the intersection of business, product, technology, compliance, and delivery, necessitating extensive expertise in the BFSI domain, structured thinking, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable specifications.
Responsibilities

Requirement Ownership & Business Analysis
- Lead requirement discovery workshops with business, product, engineering, and client stakeholders.
- Translate business, regulatory, and operational needs into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure requirements are supported by clear business context, process flow clarity, and system definitions.
- Own end-to-end requirement quality, focusing on completeness, clarity, traceability, and engineering readiness.

Requirement Governance & Control
- Define and enforce a structured requirement lifecycle, ensuring sign-off from stakeholders before development begins.
- Drive strict change control discipline, documenting all post sign-off changes and assessing impacts on timeline and scope.
- Implement and maintain a Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) to minimize uncontrolled changes during development.

Solutioning & Product Alignment
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define execution-ready solutions, evaluating requirements against system capabilities and operational constraints.
- Contribute to the design of workflows, data flows, configurations, and reporting functionalities, ensuring solutions are scalable and audit-ready.

Engineering Handover & Delivery Clarity
- Ensure Engineering receives complete and testable requirements, conducting walkthroughs to identify gaps and ambiguities.

Documentation & Requirement Governance
- Maintain structured documentation, including functional specifications, process maps, and traceability matrices, ensuring all are auditable and version-controlled.

Stakeholder Management & Delivery Alignment
- Act as the primary liaison between business, product, engineering, QA, and client teams, driving clarifications and providing visibility on scope and dependencies.

UAT, Testing & Release Support
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, ensuring all requirements are mapped to test cases and validating outputs pre-release.

Change Management & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze feedback from various stakeholders, converting inputs into product improvements and change requests while identifying recurring inefficiencies.
Qualifications

Experience:
- 8–10 years as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Functional Consultant.
- Strong experience in the BFSI/FinTech domain is mandatory.
- Proven experience in enterprise product/platform delivery.

Technical Skills:
- Competence in requirement gathering, functional documentation, and workflow/process design.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.

Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex workflows and engage multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in regulatory technology or compliance platforms.
- Knowledge of lending, credit, or risk systems, as well as workflow automation or enterprise SaaS products.
- Exposure to AI/ML or data-driven platforms.
- Experience in client-facing implementation or consulting roles.
