Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in API Testing and Python automation. The role involves ensuring the quality and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing strategies. The ideal candidate will contribute to the organization’s goals by delivering high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct API testing to ensure functionality, reliability, performance, and security of the application.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Report and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Participate in requirements analysis and contribute to test case design and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in Automation Testing with a focus on API Testing.
• Proficiency in Python programming for test automation.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with tools such as Postman, JMeter, or similar for API testing.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of other programming languages and testing frameworks.
• Previous experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in QA and API testing roles.

Environment

• This is a full-time position based in Bangalore. The first level of support is virtual, while the second level will require face-to-face interaction.
