Senior Finance Manager Experience: 3–4 years Preference: Chartered Accountant (CA) Industry: FMCG / Consumer / D2C Reporting to: Founder About the Role We are a fast-growing, category-defining consumer brand in the FMCG/D2C space. As we expand across categories and markets, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Finance Manager to drive controllership, financial planning, investor reporting, and operational excellence. This role works directly with the Founder and offers end-to-end ownership in building scalable and efficient financial systems. Key Responsibilities 1. Controllership & Compliance • Lead the month-end close process ensuring timely, accurate financial statements under Indian GAAP/Ind AS. • Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and oversee tax filings and regulatory compliance. • Establish strong internal controls, governance frameworks, and SOPs across finance functions. 2. Investor Relations • Prepare MIS, financial models, and investor presentations to support fundraising and board discussions. • Monitor business KPIs and financial performance, generating insights for founders and investors. • Coordinate with auditors, advisors, banks, and external financial stakeholders. 3. Financial Planning & Analysis • Drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modelling. • Develop dashboards for profitability, category economics, CAC/LTV, and channel-level metrics. • Deliver actionable insights influencing product, pricing, supply chain, and growth decisions. 4. Finance Operations • Oversee receivables, payables, inventory accounting, order-to-cash, and procure-to-pay processes. • Optimize cash flow, treasury operations, and working capital cycles. • Implement automation initiatives across ERP, reporting, reconciliations, and controls. 5. Strategic Business Partnering • Collaborate with the Founder on strategic planning, growth, and margin optimization. • Conduct financial evaluations for new product launches, partnerships, and expansion plans. Requirements • CA preferred; MBA Finance or equivalent may be considered. • 3–4 years of experience in FMCG, consumer, or D2C finance roles. • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial modelling, and investor reporting. • Comfort with fast-paced, high-growth environments. • Proficiency with data tools, ERPs, and analytical reporting. • High ownership, integrity, and a hands-on work style.
