Application Packaging & Deployment (SCCM & Intune)

Job Summary

The Application Packaging & Deployment specialist will manage the full software deployment lifecycle, focusing on Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). This role involves packaging, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting applications across Windows 10/11 platforms and modern device management environments. The position supports the organization’s IT infrastructure by ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery and endpoint management.

Responsibilities

• Manage software deployment lifecycle including packaging, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of applications.
• Develop and maintain application packages using MSI, EXE, App-V, and Win32 app formats for deployment via SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
• Automate packaging and deployment tasks using PowerShell scripting.
• Utilize SCCM for application packaging, deployment, update management, and troubleshooting software installation issues through log analysis.
• Deploy and manage applications on modern devices using Microsoft Intune, including packaging and updates.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate deployment processes with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Support mobile app management for iOS devices using Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Volume Purchase Program (VPP).
• Work with Office 365 suite and collaboration tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams to support end-user productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Windows endpoint management with a focus on Microsoft Intune.
• Strong expertise in SCCM for application packaging, deployment, and update management.
• Proficient in packaging software applications for Windows 10/11 platforms.
• Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting for automation of packaging and deployment tasks.
• In-depth knowledge of MSI, EXE, App-V, and Win32 application packaging formats.
• Experience troubleshooting software installation issues using SCCM logs and Windows event logs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration, preferably with Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of mobile app management for iOS (ABM/VPP).
• Experience with Office 365 suite and collaboration tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Intermediate experience with CI/CD pipeline integration using Azure DevOps.
• Intermediate knowledge of mobile app management for iOS devices.
• Familiarity with macOS application packaging and deployment.
• Experience with modern device management best practices and security compliance.

Experience

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in Windows endpoint management and application deployment.
• Proven track record managing software deployment lifecycle using SCCM and Microsoft Intune.

Salary

• Salary: ₹36,00,000 INR per annum.
