Trend Research (includes Wgsn, Vogue Runway, and competitive brands study).
Trend Spotting- shortlisting as per buyers’ signature.
Creating seasonal trends and research direction reports for the team.
Briefing the team on the season’s trend direction.
Planning on Women’s wear stories and concept boards.
Range planning based on the previous season’s sales analytical report.
Women’s wear designing and managing sample developments
should have handled European Buyers Before
To make sure designs are commercially viable and within the price point of buyers’ requirement
Kids Wear’s research, designing, and managing sample developments
Achieving the selection hit rate target (30% order conversion – 75% selection)
Handling technical issues of sample developments
New fabric sourcing and supplier meetings.
New Print design research and direction to the team
Follow-ups of buyers’ requirements ppts and sample submissions.
Monitor sample photoshoots.
