Job Summary: PH91 Consumer Goods India Private Limited is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented graduate with 3-4 years of proven experience to join our dynamic team as an Inventory Associate at our warehouse in Jamalpur, Gurgaon, conveniently located near the Amazon DEL-4 Warehouse. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of our finished goods inventory. Your primary tasks will involve precise inventory putaway, picking for outbound shipments (specifically focusing on STN Backwards), and ensuring the integrity of our inventory by verifying that all finished goods are placed in and picked from the correct locations within our Jamalpur facility. Your experience and skills in warehouse management systems, advanced Excel, and manpower handling will be highly valued and will directly contribute to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within the fast-paced consumer goods market in India. Key Responsibilities: ● Inventory Putaway: Accurately receive and place incoming finished goods inventory into designated storage locations within the Jamalpur warehouse, adhering to established procedures and location management systems. ● Inventory Picking (Outbound STN Backwards): Efficiently and accurately pick finished goods according to outbound Stock Transfer Note (STN) requirements, with a specific focus on "backwards" picking methodologies to optimize workflow within the Jamalpur warehouse operations. ● Location Accuracy: Rigorously verify that all finished goods being put away and picked are moved to and from the correct storage locations within the Jamalpur facility to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent errors. ● Inventory Sanity: Regularly monitor and ensure the integrity of inventory in storage within the Jamalpur warehouse, identifying and reporting any discrepancies, damages, or misplaced items. ● Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements, including putaways, picks, and any adjustments, using the designated inventory management system. ● Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to inventory handling and warehouse operations within the Indian context and specifically within the Jamalpur warehouse environment. ● Collaboration: Work effectively with other warehouse team members based in the Jamalpur location, including shipping, receiving, and quality control, to ensure smooth and efficient inventory flow. ● Problem Solving: Identify and escalate any inventory-related issues or discrepancies within the Jamalpur warehouse to the appropriate supervisor for timely resolution. ● Continuous Improvement: Contribute to identifying opportunities for process improvements within the inventory management function at the PH91 Consumer Goods India warehouse in Jamalpur. ● Manpower Handling: Assist in the coordination and assignment of tasks to warehouse personnel. Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university. ● 3-4 years of proven experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment, preferably within the consumer goods sector in India and experience in warehouses in the Gurgaon region. ● Demonstrated ability to accurately perform inventory putaway and picking tasks. ● Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential. ● Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and formula creation. ● Experience with manpower handling and coordination within a warehouse setting is highly desirable. ● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. ● Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures. ● Good organizational and time management skills. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team within the Jamalpur warehouse setting. ● Basic computer literacy. ● Good communication skills, comfortable communicating in English and Hindi, and able to effectively interact with colleagues at the Jamalpur location. Physical Requirements: ● Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods within the warehouse. ● Comfortable working in a warehouse environment in Jamalpur, which may have varying temperatures and noise levels typical for warehouses in the Gurgaon region.
