Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading the company's financial strategy, capital allocation, and corporate planning in collaboration with the Founders and Board of Directors. This role involves managing institutional fundraising, investor relations, and the overall capital structure. The CFO will oversee the development of business finance systems, drive manufacturing finance initiatives, and ensure robust governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks. Additionally, the CFO will lead the transformation of ERP and finance systems to support the company's growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial strategy, capital allocation, and corporate planning in partnership with the Founders and Board.
  • Own institutional fundraising, investor relations, and manage the capital structure to support business growth.
  • Build and oversee business finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and product/customer-level profitability systems.
  • Drive manufacturing finance, enforce capex discipline, and manage plant-level costing.
  • Manage treasury functions, working capital, and maintain banking relationships.
  • Establish and maintain governance, compliance, and enterprise risk management frameworks.
  • Lead the ERP and finance systems transformation to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Additional qualifications such as CFA or MBA in Finance are a plus.
  • 3-5+ years experience as CFO, Finance Director, or Senior VP of Finance.
  • Strong background in specialty ingredients, nutraceuticals, pharma, specialty chemicals, FMCG, or B2B manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in institutional fundraising and investor relations.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing/plant finance, treasury, and working capital management.
  • Exposure to board governance and IPO-readiness processes.
