Job Summary

As VP / Head - Finance, you will lead the financial strategy, planning, and governance of the company. You will be responsible for budgeting, operational efficiency, compliance, and financial reporting to ensure strong financial health and investor confidence. This role requires a strategic thinker who can work cross-functionally with legal, HR, and operations to drive business growth and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Business Finance & FP&A: Lead the Business Finance and FP&A function, delivering insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.
• Budgeting & Financial Planning: Manage annual budgeting and long-term financial planning to drive sustainable growth.
• MIS & Financial Reporting: Build and maintain a robust Management Information System for internal reporting; prepare investor decks and board reports.
• Operational Efficiency & Cost Optimization: Develop financial KPIs to measure and enhance operational efficiency.
• Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with Company Law, SEBI, RBI, and other financial regulations.
• Taxation & Risk Management: Oversee direct & indirect tax matters and mitigate financial and legal risks through proactive planning.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 12+ years in digital banking, payments, lending, or B2B financial solutions, preferably in fast-growing startups or enterprises.
• Expertise: Deep understanding of financial planning, Management Information Systems (MIS), taxation, compliance, and operational finance.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with experience in automation and ERP financial systems.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent skills in managing relationships with investors, auditors, and legal teams.
• Fundraising & M&A: Experience in managing fundraising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and corporate restructuring is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial modeling and analytics.
• Familiarity with AI-driven financial solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience
