Chief Financial Officer
Role Title Chief Financial Officer Division Finance
Reporting to Managing Director Location Mysore
Purpose
Manage all aspects of company Finance, accounting & legal practices, including financial
controls, formulating budgets, preparing financial reports, and managing tax and audit
functions. Lead financial strategy, planning, and forecasting efforts. Provide oversight for
investment activities and fundraising initiatives for the group's business. Analyze and report
on trends, identify opportunities for expansion, and project future company growth. Ensure
financial transactions adhere to regulatory frameworks and control systems, emphasizing
prudence and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Strategy
• Spearhead business and financial strategy, overseeing planning, monitoring,
management, and reporting, while developing and managing policies, systems,
processes, and personnel.
• Lead mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop & implement performance improvement
projects.
• Direct and manage treasury activities and group-wide fundraising efforts for short and
long-term funding requirements.
• Manage capital allocation, including planned and unplanned expenditures for assets
such as land and buildings.
• Approve investment decisions based on policy frameworks, senior management
decisions, and investable surplus figures.
• Ensure the company maintains robust liquidity and short-term sustainability through
rigorous cash flow measurement.
Financial Reporting & Controllership
• Actively engage in strategic planning and development as a key executive team
member, maintaining comprehensive notes, records, and reports for distribution to the
executive and management teams.
• Supervise critical financial exercises, including budget review and analysis, operating
expenditure review and analysis, and variance reporting.
• Oversee internal audits and implement control measures to ensure operational
efficiency and compliance.

• Mitigate foreign exchange risk by implementing effective risk management strategies.
• Ensure compliance and reporting for all subsidiaries, both domestically and
internationally, maintaining a comprehensive overview of financial activities across
regions.
Investor Relations and Sebi Compliance
• Lead IPO process.
• Develop and maintain relationship with investors.
• Manage investor communication and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Sebi requirements.
• Enhance the company's public standing to strengthen its reputation.
Legal & Taxation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, covering reporting and
accounting for taxation, dividends, and the preparation of annual reports and accounts.
• Optimize the benefits of tax laws within the current legal framework to maximize
advantages for the organization.
• Oversee direct and indirect taxes, ensuring strict compliance with tax legislation and
timely payments.
• Manage EXIM management and international finance matters.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with banks, regulatory bodies, and other financial
institutions to facilitate faster and cost-effective transactions.
Other Areas of Responsibility
• Manage the company's insurance policies.
• Lead negotiations related to premises, plant, trading, acquisitions, divestments, and
disposals.
• Manage and foster important relationships with key suppliers, customers, and
partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, crafting effective strategies
for compliance.
• Oversee processes related to obtaining necessary approvals and accreditations.
Job Specifications
Education: Chartered Accountant
Years of Experience: 15+ Years of relevant experience with 10+ years experience in
leading the finance function in large organizations. Exposure to FMCG Sector of business &
IPO experience are preferred. Manufacturing Industry exposure & understanding is required.
