Job Summary
As a Content Creator at The Collectif, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's visual and cultural identity. Your mission is to capture and communicate the authentic spirit of our barbershop community through dynamic content, growing our social media presence and engaging local audiences. This is a hands-on role ideal for creative self-starters who thrive on storytelling, fast-paced content cycles, and cultural trends.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation
- Shoot and edit short-form content including Reels, Stories, and YouTube Shorts.
- Capture the barbershop atmosphere—fades, laughter, candid moments, and community.
- Ideate and execute quirky, culturally resonant content ideas rooted in men’s grooming, camaraderie, and local flavor.
- Video Editing
- Edit videos with quick turnarounds (1–2 days max).
- Add punchy subtitles, engaging music, and snappy cuts that feel authentic—not overproduced.
- Maintain a consistent, gritty-yet-polished visual style across all content.
- Social Media Marketing
- Regularly post content on Instagram and optionally YouTube Shorts.
- Strategically grow the Instagram follower count from scratch to 1,000 in one month (leaderboard in place).
- Engage with the HSR-based audience through DMs, comments, and reposts.
- Capture and share offline activation footage and stories during events or collaborations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in video creation, video editing, and video production (portfolio required).
- Experience with digital content creation and social media marketing.
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of visual storytelling.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments (1–2 day video turnarounds).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
- Educational qualifications: Open to all backgrounds; formal education in media, communications, or related fields is a plus but not required.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and current social content trends.
- Prior experience with brand building or startup environments.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Understanding of men’s grooming, lifestyle, or local culture.
- Ability to shoot and edit content using smartphones and/or professional cameras.
Experience
- Minimum Experience: 0 years (open to freshers and early-career creatives).
- Relevant experience in video creation, editing, social media, or content production is advantageous but not mandatory.
Environment
- Work Setting: Dynamic, community-focused barbershop and event environment.
- Location: Not specified; likely to involve on-site content capture at barbershop and local events.
- Fast-paced, collaborative, and creative atmosphere.

Salary
- ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month.
