Job Summary
The Software Developer will work autonomously within defined processes, taking standard decisions while contributing to the development of solutions for complex, recurring problems. This role involves receiving guidance from senior-level roles and supporting various stages of the software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Analyse specifications: Define user requirements for the development of new software solutions or upgrades of existing ones.
- Design systems and code:
- Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
- Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and users for validation.
- Develop software in accordance with established standards.
- Model, design, and implement databases.
- Test and maintain software:
- Conduct unit, package, and performance tests ensuring quality standards are met.
- Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, making necessary adjustments to finalize the product.
- Support customers by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with the Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst.
- Document your work: Produce necessary software documentation and issue it to the respective departments.
Qualifications
- Specialized formal education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in software development methodologies and best practices.
- Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or others as required.
- Basic knowledge of database management systems.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with product management and users.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and platforms.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles.
Experience
