Job Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Manufacturing Business vertical will provide strategic leadership and overall direction for multiple FMCG manufacturing companies under the group. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, maximizing profitability, and maintaining market leadership. The CEO is expected to be a dynamic, results-oriented leader with extensive experience in FMCG manufacturing, production management, sales growth, and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute the group’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy for sustainable growth and profitability.
    • Oversee multiple business units, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
    • Lead strategic planning, diversification, and expansion initiatives to strengthen market presence.
  • Operational Management:

    • Oversee end-to-end production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost control.
    • Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices across all facilities.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, sales, and profitability.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Sales & Marketing Leadership:

    • Drive sales performance and revenue growth across all product categories and markets.
    • Develop strategies for market expansion, brand positioning, and distribution network optimization.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
    • Oversee product development and innovation to meet changing consumer demands.
  • Financial Management:

    • Set annual budgets and financial targets for each business unit.
    • Ensure optimal allocation of resources and effective cost management.
    • Review financial performance and implement corrective measures when necessary.
    • Maximize shareholder value through strategic growth and profitability.
  • People & Culture:

    • Lead and inspire senior management teams to achieve operational excellence.
    • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and innovation.
    • Oversee talent development, succession planning, and leadership grooming.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Regularly report to the Board of Directors on company performance, challenges, and strategic opportunities.
    • Represent the group with investors, government bodies, and industry associations.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related fields.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum 20-25 years of progressive leadership experience.
    • At least 7-10 years in a top executive role (CEO, COO, or Managing Director) within the FMCG manufacturing sector.
    • Proven track record in managing multi-site manufacturing operations and driving profitability.
    • Strong understanding of production, supply chain, sales, and marketing functions in FMCG.
    • Demonstrated experience in strategic transformation, business growth, and profitability improvement.
