Job Summary

The Senior Technical Trainer role is essential for enhancing the knowledge of customers, employees, and partners in public-key infrastructure, authentication, and HSM (Hardware Security Module) technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training through effective communication and engagement, ensuring the material is understood and retained.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training sessions, both web-based and classroom-based, on trusted identity and secure transaction products.
• Design, develop, and maintain technical learning materials, including Student Guides, Instructor Guides, Classroom Setup Guides, job aids, and other course documentation.
• Create and maintain self-paced online training modules for flexible delivery.
• Prepare and conduct practical hands-on exercises to confirm participant retention of lessons.
• Install and configure third-party products to ensure an optimal training environment for course exercises.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to customers, employees, and partners.
• Track and record participant registration, payments, and course completion.
• Maintain the enrollment and training portal.

Qualifications

• Education: College or University Degree in IT/Technical field, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years working with training tools, systems, course generation, and delivery.
  • 5 to 10 years as a technical instructor/trainer.
  • 5 to 10 years of delivering classroom-based training to highly technical audiences.
  • Previous experience with web-based training through tools such as Webex is desirable.
  • Experience in developing learning materials for classroom delivery, including needs assessments.
  • Proficiency in desktop publishing tools, specifically Adobe Captivate and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Solid understanding of network security concepts.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience with AWS, AMI, and Security Groups.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Previous understanding of digital certificates, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), authentication, mobile encryption technologies, smartcards, HSM, or networking.
• Experience developing testing questions.
• Proficiency with Windows; experience with Linux/Unix is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS, LDAP Directories, and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and WebEx Training or other online content creation tools.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) is considered an asset.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in training delivery and technical instruction.

Environment

• This position will be based in Bengaluru, with responsibilities including both classroom-based and remote web training environments.
