Web Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Web Backend Developer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience to design, develop, and maintain robust back-end systems. The ideal candidate is proficient in C# and experienced with both .NET Framework 4.x and .NET Core. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and various Azure technologies to build reliable web services and microservices, contributing to the overall efficiency and scalability of our digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Applications: Build and enhance back-end systems using C# within both ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core environments.
• Framework & Library Utilization: Leverage .NET Framework 4.x, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Entity Framework Core to design efficient data access layers.
• API & Microservices Development: Develop and manage OData RESTful APIs and various web services/microservices.
• Database Management: Utilize Microsoft SQL to design, develop, and optimize data storage solutions.
• Cloud Integration: Implement solutions using Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Storage.
• Collaboration and Version Control: Work in a hybrid environment (3 days in office per week) and manage code using Git, ensuring robust authentication and authorization methods are in place.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C#: Solid programming skills in C# and object-oriented design.
• .NET Expertise: Hands-on experience with .NET Framework 4.x and .NET Core frameworks.
• Web Frameworks: Proven ability in developing applications using ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Data Access: Experience with both Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core.
• API Skills: Practical knowledge in developing OData RESTful APIs.
• Database Competence: Experience working with Microsoft SQL.
• Security Fundamentals: Skilled in implementing authentication and authorization best practices.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka for event streaming.
• Experience in integrating Web Services/Microservices.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in web backend development and software engineering, with demonstrated proficiency in the required technologies.
