Position Title: Director/ Associate Director – Finance Operations (Fin-Ops)
Location: Bangalore
Duties & Responsibilities
• Managing a 15 member team of P2P, O2C and other finance areas , providing leadership and inspiration
• Create a Centre of excellence (COE) for finance operations in the next few quarters
• Focusing on efficient service delivery with excellent quality
• Cultivating a continuous improvement mindset and driving optimisation initiatives
• Managing relationships with stakeholders in Marketplaces and brands
• Managing metrics, reporting, and policy to improve operations and align with business strategy
• Optimization of Process through efficiency, cost reduction and service quality improvement
• Ensuring adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures while upholding internal controls
• Find and automate operational processes to reduce cost and increase efficiency and accuracy
The Successful Applicant
• Chartered Accountant/ MBA from premier B-schools
• Work experience of around 10 years with at least 5 years of experience in managerial roles
• Prior experience in finance operations in these industries - COE, E-Comm, D2C, Travel or Courier
• Track record in leading teams of min. 10+
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce policies as well as finance business processes
• Proven ability in analytic and strategic thinking
• Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of setting a positive example, inspiring teams
• Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
