Job Summary

The Power Electronics Testing role will be integral in ensuring the quality and performance of systems within the automotive and power electronics industries. This position is essential for validating compliance with industry standards and functional safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute system test plans and test cases specifically for power electronics applications.
  • Conduct test execution and reporting in the automotive sector, ensuring reliability and compliance.
  • Utilize the OPAL-RT power electronics test bench for hands-on testing and validation of power electronics systems.
  • Work with CAN tools such as CANalyzer to analyze and validate communication protocols.
  • Familiarize yourself with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety for Automotive Systems) to align testing methodologies with industry standards.
  • Manage testing activities using Source & Issue Management Tools for tracking issues and facilitating resolution.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in system testing, especially in the context of power electronics.
  • Hands-on experience with OPAL-RT power electronics test bench.
  • Proficient in using CAN tools (such as CANalyzer).
  • Understanding of ISO 26262 and/or ASPICE processes.
  • Experience with Source & Issue Management Tools.
  • Basic Python programming skills are advantageous.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with additional testing methodologies specifically related to automotive or power electronics.
  • Knowledge of software development processes and industry best practices.
