Job Summary
The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the commissioning of pyrolysis plants and related waste-to-energy projects. The role involves overseeing site activities, ensuring technical standards, managing project documentation, and acting as a key liaison between clients and the technical team. This position is essential for ensuring project delivery on time, within budget, and in alignment with Goenvi Technologies’ sustainability goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the commissioning of pyrolysis systems and related waste-to-energy projects at client sites.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and ensure adherence to project plans.
- Maintain thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including technical reports, safety records, and client communication.
- Conduct on-site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide technical explanations in a clear and concise manner.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning and operation phases.
- Collaborate with Goenvi’s internal teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and technical deliverables.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in project engineering, site management, or commissioning engineering.
- Strong knowledge of pyrolysis or similar process engineering systems. or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to safety practices and environmental sustainability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in waste-to-energy or sustainability-focused projects.
- Hands-on experience with site management and commissioning in remote locations.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD) for design review.
- Experience managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Knowledge of process instrumentation and troubleshooting.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical engineering, project engineering, commissioning, or site management.
- Relevant experience in waste-to-energy, process plants, or sustainability projects is highly desirable.
Environment
- Typical work setting will be at the project site in Wada, Maharashtra.
- Full-time, on-site role with potential for remote site visits as required.
- May involve outdoor work, exposure to industrial environments, and adherence to strict safety protocols.
Salary
- ₹250,000 – ₹360,000 per annum
